Solution
Keep the feet flat on the ground.
Description
In the Hardstyle swing, clean, or snatch, the feet need to remain planted on the ground. When doing any other variation and it creates unbalance, then the feet should also remain flat. In sportstyle or freestyle, when done correctly and for a reason other than the weight pulling you forward or it being too. heavy, it’s ok.
This issue may occur on the up phase but also on the drop from overhead in the full or half snatch. In which case the weight might be thrown away from you rather than pulled down with a flick of the wrist.
The cause for the heels leaving the ground may be because the weight is too heavy, the movement is incorrect, the weight is too far from the body, or the exercise is performed too violently. Pause, focus, and reset on every rep to fix this.
