The adductor longus, a muscle of the adductor group in the medial compartment of the thigh, is the most superficial of the three adductors; it is a triangular muscle, lying in the same plane as the pectineus.
The adductor brevis is a triangular adductor muscle in the medial compartment of the thigh that assists in the movements of the hip and thigh. It is situated in front of the adductor magnus and immediately behind the adductor longus and pectineus.
